Standard connection details
Standard fibre services with poll.net are all configured with
- DHCP (PPPoE is available upon request)
- CGNAT (add a DHCP IP or Static IP to your plan if required)
- Unlimited Data - no overage charges and no rate limiting.
Connection requirements
- Standard fibre connections require an ONT on site. This is what your router will connect to.
Upgrading to Hyper Fibre requires an upgraded ONT, there is a charge for this.
- Fibre is not available in all locations, if uncertain please contact us to check
- Router - depending on the plan speed an entry level wifi router might cover your need, complexity and area coverage will require a higher end setup, either a mesh setup or a more powerful router might be worthwhile.
